My blog has been moved...

Hello Everyone!

In an attempt to regain some privacy, I have moved the location of this blog. If you would like to continue reading my blog, please email me privately and tell me who you are so I can send you an invite to the new location.

The original purpose of my blog was so that my family would be able to peek into my life. Very quickly I gained a wonderful audience of other mama's and friends who enjoyed reading. But very recently (and it's my own fault) my blog became more public than I am comfortable with. I write very personal things on my blog, much of which is for the eyes of women only. So though it may seem extreme, I am keeping the new blog location private and you will need to be approved by me in order to view it.

If you do not have my personal email address, then leave me a comment and a means for me to contact you privately.

my name is Almut and I've been following your blog for over a year now. I'm writing, not because I'm asking you to let me see your private blog, but rather to tell you who I am and why I have been reading your blog. I wouldn't want you to feel offended by me reading into your life, being a total stranger to you. I should have written to you before, so that this imbalance of knowing about each other (or rather not knowing) would have been equalled out.
I have found your blog by chance, while looking for other bloggers on the internet and got caught by reading about your life, which is so different than mine, but in a way that made me feel somehow connected to it. I'm a German student, married and planning to have children soon. I'm a christian and I've been wondering for a long time, what this should mean for my life, especially for my family life. When I stumbled over your blog, I kind of saw a way of living, I had never even though of. And even though, I don't agree with your opninions at all times, your ideas gave me the courage to think of myself as a woman, who can handle everything that comes with being/becoming a mother, a wife and a christian. I really admire your way of approaching birth and child care and you made me think about choices I can have, I didn't know I had. Like for example, how to have a say in my births and not be overrun by some doctors or nurses.
I've learned a lot from your blog, you've been a real inspiration for me.
I wrote to you to appologize and to thank you. If you'd like to know more about me or write for any other reason, here's my e-mail address: almut.weismann (at) gmx.de

Kind regards,

Janice, I will send you my email addy on Facebook. You will need to open a Google account in order to accept my invite but that's a really simple thing. I'll just need to know which email you set up the account with so I send the invite to the right place :-)

just an FYI, I have 2 blogs, a family blog and this one "A Sacred Birth Journey" (which has been renamed), I am sending 2 invites to most people so they can access both. I will be posting mostly on my family one from now on and simply updating Nadeus's blog with pictures and stuff.

Please add me on. Did you just privatize it? Because I just read all about Nadeus' birth Friday night. My email address is w8ng4him@gmail.com Hurry, before I start have baby withdrawls. ;0) By the way, I loved all the pictures. You looked beautiful. My favorite picture was of you in the birthing pool from the back. He is gorgeous, and grew so fast.
